Convenors Required!
We are currently looking for Volunteers to fill the Convenor position for the following divisions:
Mini Tyke
Novice
Minor Peewee
Bantam
The position of Convenor is an administrative position requiring general administrative and organizational skills. You do not need to be a hockey expert.
A Convenor MUST be in place before any division can play any games. If we find ourselves without a Convenor for any division at the start of the season then the teams in that division will only be able to practice and no games will be scheduled until such time as a volunteer for the position of Convenor is identified.
If you are thinking about contributing your time to the kids of the NMHA please consider the position of Convenor.
If you have any questions about the positions please feel free to contact Kelly Logan (hl.alternate.1@nmha.on.ca) for the Mini-Tyke and Novice divisions and Gene Goral (hl.alternate.2@nmha.on.ca) for the Minor Peewee and Bantam divisions.

If your certification expires in the 2010/2011 season, please note that the expiry date is August 31, 2010 with no grace period.
If your VSS expires this year, you must submit a new form before August 31, 2010.

The NMHA is pleased to Welcome Rosemary Hozjan and Laura Cabot to the Executive
During the May NMHA Executive meeting two volunteers were appointed to fill one vacancy that was left open from our recent AGM as well as a vacancy that has been open for some time. Please welcome Rosemary Hozjan and Laura Cabot to the NMHA Executive. Rosemary will be taking on the role of Secretary while Laura will be tackling the role of Fundraiser Director.

Tom Kanaris - Thank You!
The NMHA Executive would like to express its many thanks to Tom Kanaris. For the past several years Tom has been the NMHA Equipment Director and has done a fantastic job in making sure the NMHA received full value from our various suppliers as well as providing support for the requirements of both our House League and Rep programs. Unfortunately for the NMHA, Tom, a Lifetime Member of the NMHA, has decided to resign his position effectively immediately to turn his attention to other priorities. If you see Tom, please take a moment to thank him for all his wonderful work for these past many years of service.
