Annual Home and Home series with Aurora
The Aurora Tigers were the overall winners at the annual Home & Home series.

Our food drive was a great success as we collected just under 3,000 food items to be given to the food bank this week.
The top team who donated the most was the Minor Peewee AE team at 264 food items donated.

Hurricanes 'Minor Hockey Days'
The Newmarket Hurricanes Jr. A Hockey Club will be hosting 'Minor Hockey Days' at each of their 5 Sunday HOME games during the 2009 / 2010 season... All Minor Hockey players wearing their game jersey to one of the 5 Sunday home games will be admitted free of charge. If a team of 10 or more players enters together, up to three coaches and other team staff ( with proper ID ) will be admitted as well.
In addition, at each of the Sunday games, a pair of Gold Maple Leaf tickets (value ~$400) will be available in a draw.
All Sunday games have 3:30pm start times. The dates of the five games are:

NMHA to Host Bantam AA OHF in April 2010.
NMHA has been selected by the OMHA to be the Host Centre of the 2010 OHF Bantam AA Championship to be held at Ray Twinney Complex from April 9-11, 2010. Competing in the OHF are the Championship Teams from the OMHA, Alliance, GTHL, NOHA and the Host Team.
